A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser so it can recognise the same visitor again. This page lists the ones we set and what each is for. After registration, we use only essential cookies to keep your storytelling experience smooth and secure.
We use very few. They keep the site working properly and show us, in rough numbers, which ancient tales and folklore stories people actually read. 600 visits each month help us know what legends matter most to our readers.
We keep no record of which stories you read, and we do not track your activity across other websites. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
If a page loads content hosted elsewhere, that provider may set their own cookie. Their privacy rules apply to that cookie, not ours.
Any browser lets you block or delete cookies through privacy settings. Disabling essential ones may prevent parts of the site from loading properly.
Removing them clears all stored data, and the site resets as though you are visiting for the first time.
Our full approach to handling personal information is explained in a separate policy.
If we change anything here, we will update this page and note the date at the top.
Anything unclear can be sent through our contact page, and we will respond with a straightforward answer.
